Andrew Borland has joined the Virtual Engineering Centre (VEC) as commercialisation manager. In his role, Andrew will be supporting the LCR 4.0 project team and clients, and the VEC’s technical team on all aspects of commercial development, intellectual property protection and technology licensing.
Previously IP business manager at the University of Liverpool’s technology transfer office Liverpool IP, Andrew joined the University’s legal department in 2012 having previously been a part of an award-winning tech start-up. He is a graduate of the Chartered Institute of Company Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA), the University of Liverpool Law School and Liverpool John Moores University.
